Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Snubbed by Society handles information when you visit this store, buy apparel, create an account, or contact Customer Care. For questions or requests, use our contact form and choose “Privacy request.” You do not need an account to submit a request.
Information you provide
- Orders: name, billing and shipping addresses, email, optional telephone number, items, sizes, quantities, order notes, and transaction records.
- Accounts: email, account credentials, addresses you save, and order history. Passwords are handled by the account system and are not displayed to store staff in readable form.
- Support: the name, email, optional order number, topic, and message you submit. Please do not send card numbers, passwords, government IDs, or other sensitive information through the form.
- Reviews: review content and a display name if you choose to post a review. Information in a published review is visible to other visitors.
Information collected during a visit
The website, hosting provider, and security services receive technical information such as your IP address, browser/device information, request times, and the pages or resources requested. Cart and session cookies support shopping and account functions. The lookbook stores saved design choices in your browser when you use that feature. See our Cookie Policy for details.
The site loads Google Fonts to display its typography, which involves requests from your browser to Google’s font servers. Those requests can disclose your IP address and browser information to Google. We have not enabled advertising pixels or cross-site behavioral advertising in this store setup.
How we use information
We use information to operate the store, process and fulfill orders, provide updates, respond to support and privacy requests, manage returns, prevent fraud, maintain security, and keep records needed for accounting, disputes, or legal obligations. A support request or purchase does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails.
Who receives information
We share the information needed with service providers that support the store: hosting and technical providers, payment processors for the method you select, printing and fulfillment partners, shipping carriers, and communications providers. Store staff with an appropriate role can access information needed to help you. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect rights or security, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate protections.
When a payment method is offered, its processor handles the payment details and may provide us with transaction status, a reference, and limited payment information. We do not ask you to send full card details to Customer Care. Payment providers’ own privacy notices govern their independent processing.
We do not sell customer information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in the store configuration described here. Service providers may process information in the United States or other locations where they operate.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, handle disputes, prevent abuse, and meet recordkeeping obligations. An order record may need to be kept even after an account or support request is closed. We use access controls and HTTPS to help protect information, but no online service can promise absolute security. We review deletion requests in light of these needs and applicable law.
Your choices and requests
You can update saved account details through My Account, control cookies through your browser, and clear lookbook favorites on our Privacy Choices page. To request access, correction, a copy, or deletion of information, use Customer Care and select “Privacy request.” Tell us the nature of the request and the email used for the order or account.
Depending on your state and applicable law, you may have additional rights, including an appeal or use of an authorized agent. We may need reasonable verification before disclosing or changing information. We do not require a purchase or charge a routine fee to submit a request, and we do not discriminate for exercising applicable privacy rights. If we decline a request, you can ask us to review that decision through the same contact form.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We do not use cross-site behavioral advertising in this store setup. A Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal does not disable cookies needed for a cart, account, or security. Because we do not sell or share information for behavioral advertising, no advertising opt-out is needed to stop that activity here. Other sites you visit, including linked services, follow their own policies.
Children
Our kids’ apparel is sold to parents, guardians, and other adult purchasers. The store is not intended to collect information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate.
Changes
We will update the effective date when this policy changes. Material changes will be explained through an appropriate notice before they apply where required. Please contact Customer Care with any questions.
